I was fortunate enough to serve with Amelea at ArtPrize and a more dedicated colleague and co-worker would be hard to find. Amelea is a holistic thinker and doer -- she studies all facets of a situation, problem or project to come up with the most practical and actionable solution. Her competencies are wide-ranging. She is a skilled writer and communicator, a gifted facilitator and a strong administrator who develops budgets, scoping documents, timelines and other planning instruments with ease and efficiency. She is a natural leader who can develop and build consensus around her own vision, or who can break down another's vision into a crisp plan of action. She is a gifted collaborator and co-creator. She possesses the warmth and generosity of spirit that immediately puts people at ease, but she is also determined and extremely successful in her quest to define outcomes and get results.
